Organizational Affiliates

If you belong to an organization that's an Organizational Affiliate of HIMSS, you can get a complimentary HIMSS individual membership. Many healthcare agencies, colleges, and universities are Organizational Affiliates. See the list of OA organizations.

If you already have a HIMSS account:

Send an email to OA@himss.org from your employee email address stating that you already have a membership or account. If you have a member number, please include it. One of the Organizational Affiliate Relationship Managers will contact you to assist with getting your complimentary membership set up.

If you do not have a HIMSS account:

  1. Go to the Organizational Affiliate Membership Sign-Up Page.
  2. Click on the "Click here" link in the pink box. This will take you to the login / create account page.
  3. Select "Create an Account".
  4. Enter the required information to create your account. You must use an email address associated with your organization.
  5. After creating your HIMSS account with an approved email address, you will be redirected to the Organizational Affiliate Membership Sign-Up Page. Click "Join".
  6. On the Individual Organizational Affiliate Membership Profile screen, be sure to add your personal address OR choose to use your organization's address. You should also verify your contact information and salutation.
  7. To get your complimentary chapter membership, choose your chapter from the dropdown box, selecting the Region, then the Chapter.
  8. Select "Next". This will take you to the confirmation page.

Volunteers

HIMSS Oregon welcomes volunteers to assist with various chapter activities, from writing articles to aiding registration at events. Please contact us at himssoregonchapter@gmail.com to express your interest and get connected to new opportunities.
